Questions and Answers About Photoshoots

Studio Photoshoots

Studio photoshoots are a great way to show off the hard work you have put into your fitness, as well as headshots or beauty images.

Common questions and answers:

Q: What does the studio have in it?

A: The studio shoots are very basic.  I have a white, gray, and black background to use for a verity of different looks. You are welcome to bring props to your photoshoot if you want.

Q: What types of clothing should I bring

A: For a studio shoot you get up to 4 outfit changes.  You can bring anything from fitness to lifestyle.  Think shorts, jeans, tights, compression, underwear, and slacks.  Women can also bring dresses and/or skirts.  Bring items you would want to wear! Remember, it is your photoshoot!

Q: Should I only bring four outfits, or can I bring more?

A: Please bring what you would want to wear!  If you can’t narrow down your outfits, I might be able to help you decide what would look best. Also, if the photoshoot is moving quickly we might have time for an extra look.

Q: Can I bring someone with me?

A:  Please do!  I do ask two things though. Please no more than 3 guests; and, make sure whomever you bring is supportive and there to be a positive voice during the photoshoot.

Q: It’s my first photoshoot and I don’t know how to pose. Can you help me with that?

A: I sure can! I have been working with new models for years and it is my goal to have you leave the photoshoot feeling confident and proud of the work we put in that day.

Gym Photoshoot

Gym photoshoots are a great way to capture all the hours and hard work you have put in to your body.

Common questions and answers:

Q: What type of images do we take in the gym?

A: We will do a bunch of different workouts for this photoshoot.  We will focus on dumbbells, cables, deadlifts, bars, and plates.  The gym might have other props and workout equipment we can use as well.  If you have any ideas or any favorite workouts or equipment please let me know!

Q: Will there be other people in the gym?

A: Yes, the gym I normally use is a public gym. We will work around people and try not to stay in one place too long.

Q: What type of clothes do I wear for a gym photoshoot?

A: Gym clothes!  Ahahah!  Anything from shorts, leggings, compression and more.  If you have other ideas let me know.  Just make sure you are comfortable wearing what you have on in a public space.
